WHAT ARE ALUMINUM ANODES?
Aluminum anodes are a type of sacrificial anode.

Although the voltage rate is lower than that of magnesium anodes, aluminum anodes have a much slower consumption rate, making them ideally suited for seawater applications.

Typically, aluminum anodes are used to prevent corrosion of steel structures in seawater and fresh water and are commonly used on marine vessels, mechanical equipment, marine engineering, harbour facilities, seawater pipelines, ship hulls, ballast tanks and drilling platforms.
